Subie Doctor is here to ensure your Subaru is up to date with all maintenance requirements so you don’t need to worry about it! Subie Doctor now offers a complementary Check and Chat service to get you started.
During your Check and Chat service, we are here to answer any questions you might have regarding any aspect of your Subaru. Our professionally trained technicians will check your Subaru in all areas to ensure it is running smoothly. This takes roughly 30 minutes.
If this is your first time owning a Subaru, you will be introduced to a range of great features that you will use in your car each time you drive. During your Check and Chat Service, we are here to help you set up any of these new features, ensure everything is working as it should be and take you through step by step how to use each of these exciting new features!
Road Test Vehicle
- Check Starter Motor System 〈Slow Cranking〉 Check Idle Operation
- Check for Warning Lights on Dash (Service Reminders, Warning Light etc.)
- Assess Brakes, Steering and Suspension Operation
- Assess Transmission Gear Shift Operation
- Assess Engine Operation (Power Output, Flat Spots, Misfiring, Exhaust Leaks etc)
- Check A/C Operation, Check Front & Rear Wipers and Washer Aim,
Inspection
- Check Lights Using Mirrors, Check all Exterior and Interior Globes, Including Interior lights and Dash Illumination
- Check Handbrake Adjustment
- Replace Lube Sticker, Sat Nav / MFD Service Reminders (if Applicable)
- Service Log Book Stamp, Check Previous Service Notes for Consistency and Service History Check
- Check Battery Clamp & Terminal Security, Test battery condition
- Check all Levels (adjust levels as required)
- Check Drive Belts (Tension, Cracks) (Adjust or Quote as Required)
- Check all four wheel free play (Wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods, bushes etc.)
- Check and Set Tyre Pressure to 38 PSI Including Spare
- Measure Brake Pads, Check all Tyres, Tread Depth, Wear Pattern, Punctures, Sidewall Damage etc
- Check Radiator, AT Cooler Lines, Engine, Transmission, Front Drive Shafts, Front Shocks
- Check Front Brake Hoses, Front Suspension Bushes, Front Exhaust, Tail Shaft Uni’s, Rear Diff (leaks & bushes)
- Check Rear Drive Shafts, Rear Shocks, Brake Hoses, Rear Suspension Bushes, Rear Exhaust
- Torque Wheel Nuts
